Delinquent Student Accounts
Student accounts that remain unpaid by the end of the semester are deemed delinquent and are referred to the Credit & Collections unit of the Bursar’s Office. Collectors will be contacting students via e-mail, phone and letters on a continuous basis until outstanding balances are paid.
Students with unpaid balances result in a financial hold, which restricts all university services, including future registration. If your account balance remains outstanding, the financial hold may also prevent the release of official transcripts.
Please contact Credit & Collections to perform any of the following actions:
- Pay your delinquent balance
- Discuss potential payment arrangements to return to Temple
- Review payment plan options for former students
- Discuss your transcript request with an outstanding balance
Delinquent balances must be satisfied before students are permitted to register for classes. When collectors are reviewing potential payment arrangements, please note if a student did not satisfy a previous payment agreement, a new payment arrangement will never be offered.
